President's Message

At Golden Eagle, we have started the term on a very strong note. 

First, our nomadic days are over!  We are finally back in our regular meeting room, 120B in Building SE 40, and our weekly meetings have resumed at 19h30 on Thursdays.  

Second, we have a strong and very motivated executive, and it is my pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic team:

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the outgoing executive for their excellent work and efforts to support Golden Eagle.  Vanora, Henry, Manpreet, Dennis and Frank have been known to juggle different hats to keep the club going. 

Finally, we have reinforced the vision of making GETM a club of excellence in public speaking, to be achieved through 3 goals:
1) support the current members in their public speaking,
2) build the membership with persons similarly motivated to improve their public speaking skills, and
3) be organized for the smooth and efficient running of regular meetings.

Our last executive meeting saw a fall cleanup of our boxes.  We are now organized and we know where our papers are!!!  Members, keep your eyes peeled and your ears open.  A list of available resources and new initiatives will come soon!!!
